Werewolf 5th Play Feel

I'm thinking about giving W5 a try. I've ran a lot of Werewolf 20th, but I'm noticing a lot of mechanical differences in how Rage and Shapeshifting works. Calling out to all my W5 players, how does the game feel to play, and what are some noticeable differences W5 has with W20 in terms of how the mechanics inform player choice?

I'm planning on running a Werewolf the Apocalypse game for some newish players (they played a short 10 session campaign once a few years ago). I'm trying to foster a protective attitude in the players when it comes to their Sept and getting them to sympathize with The Cause^(TM) but I'm not sure how to go about it. What are some unsung positive aspects of Garou society that offset the harshness of Garou Society?

Mods, feel free to delete this if this is breaking any rules. I don't know if this is normally okay or not, but I've been trying to find an Exalted 3e game to join on the official discord for a while and it always gets eaten up. Is anyone looking for a new player?

I've poured over the 3e core rulebook and have the materials for Solars, Lunars, Sidereals, and Abyssals (though I admittedly do have a preference for solars). I have over 10 years of general game master experience and love this game to pieces, even though I haven't had the chance to run extensive games in it.

I'm running a 3e game in the city of Grieve, and I'm curious. The people who take the elixir of immortality sure as hell sound like vampires, and that got me thinking; with the exception of hungry ghosts (who are noted to feast on blood) are there any other mentions of vampire-like entities in the world of Exalted? If not, what homebrew stuff have you made that was inspired by vampires?
