Hi. Not sure if this is the right sub but I’m panicking a little so please direct me to the right sub if this isn’t it. I also posted on r/WindowsHelp but it’s awaiting mod’s approval.

My personal Microsoft account got hacked and my recovery email was changed to one I don’t recognise. I also received a text from Microsoft that my phone number was also removed.

I submitted the account recovery request form as instructed, but it said the information I gave is too little. I don’t know what else to add or how I can contact Microsoft anymore. I tried the AI tool in the website but it didn’t help me.

The account is used for my log-in into Windows on my laptop and it’s also my personal email for Google mail.

Anyone has any idea what else I can do? I’m at a loss right now and would appreciate any help. Thank you in advance.

I received a notification from telegram about a suspicious attempt to log in, so I obviously declined the attempt since it’s from a country not recognised by me.

But when I went into telegram to reply to a friend, I was automatically logged out. Telegram requested I log in with my number which I did, but it told me that ‘too many attempts have been made’ and to try again later.

I waited 24 hours to try to log in again but it still says that there were too many attempts.

I’ve already submitted the form in the support website but I saw that you sometimes won’t get a reply at all.

I’m so worried because telegram is my main point of communication. Anyone has any idea what I can do? Thank you in advance.
