Case Study

Hey everyone, looking for some ASO/ASA expert guidance here because I’m hitting a massive data contradiction.

A few days ago, I ran an Apple Search Ads (ASA) campaign. The keyword "Cash Flow" generated a ton of impressions, and my app is actually ranking well for it. According to the ASA data, people are actively searching this term and downloading my app.

However, when I plug "Cash Flow" into my ASO tools, they show a search popularity score of only 6 out of 100 (extremely low).

Obviously, I lean toward trusting Apple's first-party data, but this huge gap is making it hard to trust my ASO tool for keyword research moving forward.

* How do you decide which keywords to target when third-party tool data completely contradicts live ASA performance?

* Why would a major tool show a score of 6 for a keyword that is actively driving high impressions in ASA?

Would love to hear how you guys handle this. Thanks!

Hey everyone!
I’ve built a Money Manager app and wanted to share the core requirements and one feature I think is really useful — Carry Balance. Would love feedback or suggestions.

🧩 Core App Requirements

1. User Features

  • Add, edit, delete income & expenses
  • Categorize transactions (Food, Rent, Travel, etc.)
  • Add notes, date, and optional tags
  • View transaction history (daily / monthly)

2. Dashboard

  • Current balance overview
  • Monthly income vs expense summary
  • Category-wise spending breakdown

3. Budgeting (Optional but recommended)

  • Set monthly budget per category
  • Alerts when budget exceeds

4. Reports & Insights

  • Monthly and weekly reports
  • Simple charts (expense trends, top categories)

Hello everyone,
I have developed a Money Manager application, I know it's a very niche category to develop application but i did it with some extra feature. I used some ASO tools for keyword research I have targeted mid range keyword mid competition and mid level search volume, The fact is my application is not making any keyword ranking there is no search volume comes to my application. Should I use paid marketing to generate some traffic or something else, Can you please give me some suggestion and which ASO tools you are using for Android application keyword.

Thanks in advance.
