I realized after coming back to this game so much that i might be the bad guy.

First morning of double found a empty spot was hunting about 30 mins into my hunt someone entered and before he could even get a word out I said “gtfo“ and immediately started trying to kill him ….guy couldn’t even respond we were both around lvl200 very low for my old server. I knew it was an alt or he had friends but I didn’t care. I was close to killing him but no luck he left got on his high lvl pally Killed me twice (I let him not gonna pot and with twist I made back the xp in a few minutes) then he started ksing me but I enjoyed it. After a half hour he left. We talked a little and I realized I never put down my letter it was still in my backpack

So once the spot was free again I got bored I mean I took like 5 more lvls quick but wanted some action so I went to a very contested spot that the Dominados claim and basically forced the guy out of the spawn was expecting to be killed a lot but nothing. Someone came and asked how long and I said 10 and left.

later at night I didn’t really have a desire to play regular tibia even during the double so went to play another “server” not strictly official server teaching my wife. Was a blast.

I’ve swapped to 1 handed at lvl 160 currently 177 it feels decent I have shiny blade, ornate shield prismatic set with depth caleci boots and foxtail I normally buy 4 sword rings before I hunt. My set feels fine but I only have 2 imbuements slots I’m using 1 in weapon 1 in helmet I went crit/void is it normal to still be chugging mana pots?

For the rotation I might be making a serious mistake by not using front sweep. I tried it in a multi action group but it often only hits the target I have selected. is it normal to have it on a separate hotkey? In order to get full value I often have to run away slightly so the monsters get into the line to get full value from it.

To compensate for this I’ve been using exori gran/shield slam aoe/exori on a multi action that way I don’t really need to worry about the position of monsters and can focus on healing/mana seems a lot more relaxed.

What items should I be saving up for the in the future that you would recommend? I’ve currently ate into my profits because I’ve hunted at barkless the last few levels I play on a very active server so after hero fortress always claimed I found barkless ….the experience was GREAT I haven’t had that much fun making that much experience before There other places like this to look into at higher levels? I thought it would be chill so had a movie ready but I couldn’t even watch it because those barkless things hit like trucks at times and combo like Tyson bodyshot uppercut with lifedrain.

the spell exeta amp res that taunts the ranged to bring them close how do you guys use it? it goes by target selected? I often find it missing a lot, I was experimenting hunting at oramond minos but couldn’t quite understand the chain.

I’m an old school school player just found out about gems the system seems stupid complicated and unintuitive.

I had to watch two videos explaining quadrants points etc and I still can’t activate my gem because I don’t have enough points at 170 for a 300 hp lesser gem? what a joke, oh I can’t sell them either or help a friend give him what he needs?

What level does this start? I went to Boggs in Yalahar, tried some LB wyrms and just finished up MOS but damn ive had some close calls. currently lvl 78 my HP pool doesn’t feel big enough and I have kinda crap skills in the 70s still using two hander with the blood stance. Are imbuements super important? my gear seems ok and I chug mana pots like crazy and strongs to stay alive…

i made the knight so I can watch podcasts and videos but if I even get distracted for a little bit I’m going to eat dirt I had a damn easier time on my sorc

just curious after the rebalance I plan on continuing my characters I tried on the sorc but it seemed a little sweaty not at all chill like I was hoping. I’m leaning towards a knight just because I feel like you don’t have to kite and have enough HP to make a few errors. maybe I’m completely wrong though, your thoughts?

How do you guys play on them? I had a a 200+ pally on a dead server so I sold it before I quit so after coming back I bought one 200+ on an active server super cheap and it turns out active servers kinda suck, if I want to hunt in the decent places there’s always someone there…Which surprised me cuz 200 is low level on the server I am in. I figured the 400+ spots would be packed.

How do you guys navigate this? It’s open PvP so sometimes I just go in guns blazing and try to to kill whoever is there usually I’ll say “nothing personal” before trying to kill them usually this backfires because they are double my level.

I came back to play the new servers and the community on junera seemed to be the type of people there temporarily to make tc and bounce and the community reflected it. I made another character with my wife and we got to the mid 20s and we had a pally that failed to steal some pots I dropped on the ground for her. “Are you retarded?” I said “slow hands” this made him mad as he followed us trying to lure push us and xp steal for about an hour. was this my fault? nah id say it again screw thieves. I just waited in depot and played StarCraft while she hunted solo the guy finally logged after another hour of standing next to me in depot.

my wife has only played wow before not a huge gamer and even she was annoyed by this guy. She asked me ”can we kill him?” haha I was so proud. that’s when I knew we were going to start in a PvP server. can’t do non PvP only chose it for her …..I hear gladera is even worse past 200+ the dominados make you pay monthly or will ks you non stop.

Lobera - exact opposite experience people very active looking for ths, bosses, quests the guys in English chat saw my questions and level and I was immediately bombarded with help friendly advice had high levels following me giving tips on where to level faster. Here I was thinking they were going to give me the smoke.

S/A no idea I stay away from these servers as they seem like toxic dominados from what I’ve read on these forums.

Came back to the game was excited about the rebalance made each vocation and got to lvl 40 on each of them on the new servers that came out…Decided to roll MS purely based on the fact that from reading up they have one of the most dynamic rotations so figure that would help keep me engaged. I bought one at level 110 has decent ML in the high 60s.

it looks like the most recent guide is years old here so I have several questions.

1. Do you use the auto-aim for waves? I like auto aim but I’m guessing it’s not optimal? if you don’t use auto-aim how do you make your character face a direction. the default is control and moving but ctrl seems like a pain was wondering if you could change this hotkey?

2. Mana shield still worth using? I know it got nerfed hard and you can’t spam it anymore and it takes a % of your mana I think. Im looking forward to barrier In the update.

3. What is some of the best content at 100+ you recommend? On the tibiapal website there’s a ton of places I haven’t heard of when I last played efrom werewolves was the new shiny toy so from 90ish onward id take levels and die a lot as well but still fun. looking forward to returning there and to other spots.

4. I have had a very fortunate life and have more coins than I know what to do with, what would you do for qol if you were in my shoes? What’s actually worth buying in the shop? I was looking at buying additional weekly slots but unsure if I should go that route. I’ve never used preys not sure which are the good ones etc.

5. Healing do you guys use ultimate healing with strong healing or is that not worth the hassle and just spam ultimate healing when needed?

6. If playing with your spouse what tips would you give so they aren’t so overwhelmed? my wife is learning and getting better but still dying a fair bit in the 20s (don’t have res yet on my knight) she has never leveled up solo and I block for her so apart from kiting, moving and shooting, staying diagonal any generic advice?

7. General advice, zones, supplies, gear, quests, rotations, movement, life savers, thoughts on rebalance etc anything you think someone would find beneficial Please add it.

8. YouTube advice is great but on new servers it’s a little unrealistic. Is there anything I should be focusing on brand new servers Where there isn’t much economy or items available?

looking to return been playing on the new optional PvP server with the wife but I play a bit more so going to make a character solo. recommendations I’ve searched reddit a lot of people told me at higher levels in gladera I’ll have someone kill stealing me at all times if I don’t pay monthly fee, that would be more annoying than dying honestly.

I came back after many years and am in the 30 level range but realized how much things changed. I was talking in the English chat and looking for people to do grizzly Adam’s but a lot of people called me silly and said it’s a waste of time and obsolete.

Same goes for leaving the new island targuna I left at lvl 8 but someone said I’m a noob and shoulda stayed til 18-20. I saw a level 49 EK as I was leaving and thought it was weird back in my day we wanted to leave rook as fast as we could.

I don’t like the class I choose so I will be starting again, would like to play a little more optimal though.

are the weeklys worth doing? it gives good gear or?

With the new servers out I was thinking about trying optional PvP for the first time. in the past I always played PvP and after a few months I would always have big teams hunting me if I was first to a spawn I wasn’t leaving didn’t care they were in the top guild or whatever….

I never really stuck around and drifted to other games. Had fun tho with the noobs and drama I was thinking in optional PvP can they just follow you around and kill steal I guess? Sorry I am ignorant haven’t played in a long long time.

on the new servers that just came out a few days ago there’s a 90 paladin which is relatively high level for 3-4 days …I was thinking about buying on bazar but it has distance lvl 55 how is that even possible? how horrible would it be to get 150 for diamonds I have a lot of coins so didn’t want to start from the beginning. I was thinking his distance would be at least in the 70s from shooting 1-90 kinda wild. I’ve been retired for years so maybe I’m not in touch with skills or progression

I’ve played about 15 games now of nomad FFA usually I random. Its fun …haven’t won yet but maybe one day. I was noticing some weird stuff happening in my last few games. I would like clarification from someone who has more games.

is it possible to preteam? if I make a party will my friend and I be in the same lobby? (I don’t have friends not looking to abuse this)

is map hacking possible? i swear one guy ran in my walled base and B lined right to where my king was and my base was massive.

do you often get attacked when you move out to hit someone?

I feel as soon when I move out someone usually hits me

Sacred victories common? some games it really seems like no one will attack the guy going for the 10 min sacred victory. Often there will be a few minutes remaining and when I’m trying to contest against all the keeps I’ll have someone usually trying to raid me or kill my king…which is just weird and maybe i just don’t understand?

I really enjoy this mode but maybe if the above things are true I should stick to 1v1 to have more fair play im at a 60% WR 1v1….

2v2 it plummets down to 40% 3 ranks lower!

Maybe I just suck or it’s a combination of bad luck. I’m really hoping the above isn’t true.

I see casted games with a lot of the top players like beasty,showtime, virusnoob, nmumu valdy and others it’s a big FFA with a king and you have to build your base, looks fun as hell I think when you kill someone you get an increase in pop …where is the option to play that at?

Not sure what kind of algorithm you guys use but it needs to change. I requested a credit increase 2 years ago the lady on the phone said she couldn’t do anything but they would periodically check accounts and give them out. still nothing. my credit is 800+ I have no debts other than a mortgage. I just signed up for the Sofi plus last month. I have around 40k in savings and 10k in checking and another 50k in a for fun investment account. why is this so difficult to implemen? meanwhile I get 12 offers from capital one every month.
