Guide for newbie

Assalamualaikum. I’m a uni student and recently started earning around 60k PKR/month from a part-time job. I’ve spent the past few months buying things I wanted, but now I want to start investing and building passive income.

My risk appetite is moderate, but I’d prefer avoiding direct stock investing since I don’t realistically see myself actively tracking companies or rebalancing portfolios. I’m more interested in something hands-off like bank-managed mutual funds or similar options.

Would appreciate recommendations on where to start, and also advice on how much of my monthly income I should ideally be investing.

Suggest a stack I can learn over the summer

Assalamualaikum everyone.

I’m currently a student at FAST Isb and about to enter my final year. I’m also working as an AI Engineer at a startup.

Lately I’ve been feeling a bit stuck because my job mostly involves applying things I already know instead of learning new technologies or exploring deeper concepts. Since summer is coming up and I’ll finally have some free time, I want to learn a strong stack that can help both with my FYP and Data Science / AI roles after graduation.

Right now I’m looking for guidance on:

- What stack/tools I should focus on

- Skills that would make my FYP stand out

Current background:

- Python

- Machine Learning / Deep Learning

- AI Engineering work at a startup (CV mostly but RAG work did come up once)

I’m open to backend, MLOps, data engineering, cloud, LLMs, or anything else that would make me more well-rounded.

Note: The formatting of this post was improved using AI.

Assalamualaikum. I'm looking for wireless earbuds for mainly listening to music. I am considering the samsung Galaxy buds core since I use a samsung phone but not sure if there are better options. My budget is around 10k ± 2k. I'm also planning to use them with my pc using Bluetooth for gaming (story games only). Any recommendations? I live in RWP
