New Channel or Keep my old one?

So my niche is about expat life style in South East asia. Kind of a blown out niche but i tried to make things different and different topics than normal. Ive kind of lost that "flame" for making these videos recently. I got up to about 170 subs and hit watch hour very very quickly but ya. Ive had about 9 videos straight of this niche so its pretty well "branded" i guess. I also have not posted in about 2 to 3 months now.

My question is. I want to go in a different direction. Should i completely make a new channel? Or should i just press on with the one i have?

I know a lot of this is dark magic of the algorithm and stuff but just wanted everyone's input.

Thanks in advance

I hope this is an ok question to ask.

I am just curious, i like shooting content and being behind the camera and editing etc etc. But i am not a fan of my own YouTube channel and me being in shots and talking and all that fun stuff. How do you guys get linked up with content creators to be their videographers/camera guys? I have almost all the gear needed at this point, not a live stream set up yet but looking to eventually invest in one.

Pretty terrible example, but i saw a video about ishowspeed, and he bought his camera guy an fx6 and all rigged out etc, which is insane overkill in my opinion for live streams and stuff but ya.
