Good day po. I would like to respectfully ask for clarification regarding the NCLEX application. What does the RLE summary refer to—does it pertain to the duration of clinical duty or the cases handled? Additionally, is a notarized Certificate of Undertaking signed by the Dean and Registrar still required for the application? Thank you very much.

Hello everyone! I really need some advice. I’m a fresh BSN graduate here in the Philippines, and I’m planning to take the NCLEX for New York State.
I was originally scheduled to take the PNLE this August, but some of us were advised by our coordinator to take the PNLE in February instead. I honestly felt a bit discouraged by the change, so I’m now considering taking the NCLEX first.

I just have a few questions, and I would really appreciate your insights:

  1. Will it be difficult to review for both the NCLEX and the February PNLE at the same time? I’ve seen people say that the NCLEX application process takes months, and I’m worried it might overlap with my PNLE review since I’m already enrolled in a review center.
  2. Which is better for NCLEX application—going through an agency or doing it DIY (self-application)? Can you share the pros and cons of each?
  3. If DIY is better, what are the steps for applying? I’ve done some research and watched videos, but I’m still confused about the actual process.

I would really appreciate any advice, especially from those who took the NCLEX first before the PNLE. Thank you so much
