Do people still use it to take notes faster and journal or is it an old days thing.

sorry at dinner table I meant I brain went blank while typing

Mum made dinner and I said “this tastes pretty good mum, thank you” and my mum said “thanks” my dad said “don’t be so dramatic“.

Then he proceeds to talk about politics and my mum said something about the sources she’s looking at and my dad said his source is better. I wasn’t talking while dad monologued and my mum said “hey why haven’t you talked, what’s wrong?”

My dad immediately follows with “leave him alone if he doesn’t want to talk”.
My mum preceded to ask me about a comic con stall opportunity I was planning to go and then we talked about how it should be safe and my dad said “you should be fine to go to X state yourself you went last time, also bring the pillow case for my sleeping bag from your friend’s place that you left some time ago at X state. Is the comic con in the sate university?”

I said ”no, it’s ran by a group of locals” and my mum said “yes it’s folk organised“.

My dad said “so it’s just a folk organised event”. He said to mum “I have seen great improvements from you in recent few days you have become more mature” (mind you my mum was like almost 50)

Then I left the dinner table, and my dad started to rant random medical words to my mum my mum listened as always. IDK I am saying what they said/paraphrasing almost word by word so I am unbiased is Dad a bit werid and narc or am I harsh and mean to Dad to feel like something is off. He is like this everyday, and actually it’s one of his better days, on bad days he will shout at me for bad attitudes and act a bit disgusting with s*xual comments.

I paid a teacher for projects/concept art skill boosting and I have been drawing since 3. My work is at least intermediate level with industry friends but this tut said I need to buy his course to gain real knowledge and I have been drawing wrong for my entire life. I fell for it and his class is basically a cult of personality where he calls his students work ugly because they are not following his methods. He also said there is one type of rock and square rock looks fake and cartoonish and that people should be like him and go out more…well I am a geology student so I sent him a picture of basalt columns and he said “no not like that, not only like that; trust me if you draw that your work will look ugly”. I think it’s a marketing technique the more I think about it the more I think he’s gaslighting students….

So yeah guys DONT FALL FOR THESE MARKETING TECHNIQUES!
