Sometimes, You Just Need Someone Who Gets It

You can be surrounded by people and still feel alone.

Sometimes you don’t need advice.
You don’t need someone to fix things.
You just want to talk to someone who understands.

A new mom looking for other new moms.
A student looking for someone going through the same phase.
Someone who moved to a new city and wants to make friends.
Someone simply looking for a person they can talk to.

Because sometimes, the right connection can make an ordinary day feel a little lighter.

Who would you love to connect with today?

Do you ever feel lonely after becoming a mom, even when you're never actually alone?

I’m curious if other new moms feel this way.

Since becoming a mom, I’m surrounded by people and obviously never really alone—but I sometimes miss having someone to just talk to, grab a coffee with, go for a walk, or hang out with without having to explain everything.

Making genuine friends as an adult already seems difficult, and after having a baby it can feel even harder.

For moms who have felt this way, how did you find your people?

Did you meet other moms through local groups, apps, social media, baby classes, or just by chance?

And if there was an easy way to find other moms in the same stage of life who actually wanted to meet and become friends, would you use it?
