Non-stock chat: AI-RAN and what its actually delivered vs what it promises?

There are a lot of promises out there and I wanted to start a discussion on if and if so how AI-RAN is actually:
yielding any substantial benefits or discoveries when it comes to spectral analysis / congestion handing across 5G networks?
providing consumer : enterprise friendly, monetization opportunities, where it’s not just telcos finding new ways to charge for the basics but actually developing values that customers of all types actually want.
5g made of splash and seems kind of blasé now when it comes to consumer stuff. It’s a known-quantity in the consumer space.
I’m guessing all the excitement is in the telco/enterprise space and would be interested to see what emerging challenges folks are trying to solve for out there
