Weird bar stem issues

This is my aluminium commuter/everything bike. It has a weird adjustable bar stem, unfortunately its loose at the bolt marked in blue and in my attempt to undo it to fix it i stripped the bolts. What a wee eejit, I know.

If I undo the bolt marked in yellow the whole thing will come out, its wedge shaped at the bottom as I tried to draw. I'd have undone it and taken a photo but reattaching it is a massive hassle.

My question is this, what is this part called so I can replace it, will I be able to replace it with a more conventional stem?

It might be that im seeing vent posts and reading too much into it but

Seems like many people who post here are building faulty analysis. Robust and effective models of "the way things are" require a grounding in some sort of theory. Theres lots of work been done on these issues already and starting from scratch is a good way to totally overlook imporrant aspects. Its also essential to consider multiple perspectives. You might not think it from being on reddit but there's ways of living that aren't the USamerican way.

An example. "An NT did this thing, all NTs are this way because they have no empathy/are narcissists"

This is an example of starting from a personal experience and extrapolating out an entier world view. When you make vast sweeping statements from small data sets error is inevitable!

I dont wanna sound like I'm telling anyone off. I just want more people to be more correct because I think its good to be correct. Thankyou for reading
