Toddler just got reassigned 7 rows ahead of me

Obviously I’ll talk to the gate agents tomorrow and get it sorted, but it’s insane to me that it’s legal for airlines to move a 1.5 year old away from their parent.

I had to call to even get her a seat since she’s under 2 and it’s an international flight (leg 1 of 3), so it’s definitely in the system that she’s under 2. Such an unnecessary stress!

Go pouches are so big!

Totally thought the go pouches were the same size as the flat pouches, just with a wider bottom! I was clearly mistaken.

What do folks use their large go pouch for?

Typically I just give my toddler plain greek yogurt from the tub, but we have a trip coming up and I’d like to use pouches on the airplane. We are flying internationally, so I can’t do homemade ones (customs).

Any other suggestions for high calorie, low sugar airplane friendly snacks are appreciated!

Looking for suggestions on a carrier that can fly in a carry on and can be used for short (under 5 mile) hikes.

I have a ring sling and a sakura scout. My daughter is 20 months and weighs 19lbs.

I have looked at the osprey poco soft carrier, but can’t decide if it’s really a different enough product from the Scout to justify purchasing.

Also have considered an onbuhimo, but I know those can be tough for longer distances.
