Every so often the wipers will wipe the screen of their own accord. The wiper switch is off - not at the first position, or the second or the third. The switch is off. It's not raining. There are no bugs on the screen. The sun is shining and..... the wipers wipe!

Happens randomly - bumpy roads, smooth roads, straights, bends even when stationary. Sometimes they will wipe 3 or 4 times with 10-15 sec gaps between. It happens at least once on most journeys now.

Is there a way to reset the wipers, but surely if the wiper switch is off, they shouldn't wipe??

2024 1.5TSi Mk2 R Line Black Edition

I’ve sent a small packet to the HMRC by Royal Mail Special Delivery. When I posted I got the proof of postage and a tracking number but I’ve lost the piece of paper. I’ve reason to believe the packet has not been delivered. Will the PO be able to track it if I know the date, time and place of postage? Anyone had a similar experience. Packet contains a passport and birth certificate and I’m properly in the bad books with my wife now!

Was travelling on M60 this morning around 9am and was passed by 4 or 5 fire trucks some with ‘Enhanced Response Unit’ on the side. All had blue lights and sirens on. Followed by a couple of ambulance Incident control units, several police units and fire a command unit. Apologies if the descriptions are not quite right but you get the idea? Anyone know where they were heading to and what was going on?
