What happened to rocket??

What happened to rocket??

I’m a tank main but rocket and invis were my go-to flexes. I’ve been gone since season 4 playing other games and tried rocket again for the first time in a while. What happened to him?? He feels so, idk, sluggish? Clunky? I remember my bob and weave game feeling ELITE. Now I feel like dive fodder. And there’s the orbs, I have to aim at feet now? What? I know support is a thankless job but you have me looking at feet now? 10/10 game experience. Then when I’m hurt, I just watch my team suffer bc the orbs stay on me and don’t reach them in time. Maybe I’m just washed and rusty now. Rocket used to be my goat when flexing roles, but with invis now having a self-shield, white fox able to 1v1 the whole roster, and gambit’s versatile kit, I just can’t get value out of rocket like before. Idk how yall do it but ggs

Gone since season 4

I stopped playing after Angela dropped (picked up cyberpunk and got addicted). I always thought rivals was fun but also not to be taken serious with the absurd damage options. Between acorns that do crazy damage, an ankh that forgives bad aim, and if we really wanna talk about bad aim—Wanda/CND. So I saw the game for what it is, an easy hero shooter that caters to all skill levels. Casual fun.

I guess I was wrong because holy toxicity. Quick play now feels like a test to prove one’s worth apparently. I’ve always used QP to learn new characters, how am I supposed to know DD and white fox can 1v1 almost the entire roster? The game always had busted characters, it’s nothing new? I think dedicated rivals players forget that Netease basically gives out crutches and to just have fun playing absurd kits. I won’t stop doing QP, the animated icons look sick and I’m kinda eyeing venom’s.

But yea, just wanted to say this community needs to chill out. I think ppl forget this is one of the easiest hero shooters out there

New to venom

My fellow tanks, as a lord Strange/Mag/Thor, I have yet to take on this swinging menace. I see other venoms absorb disgusting amounts of damage and I’m inspired. I’m about to start learning him, any beginner tips would be appreciated!
