Did anyone get a drug test done in the academy again when they went ?

Is NYPD worth it ?

Can you defer to get into the academy and ask to join a following class or is mandatory to attend the one they call you for? I saw a person post that you can but potentially can mean they won’t take you.

How long did it take for people to get accepted into the academy! Given my psych interview was June 5th and it takes one week to two weeks to make the report ! Do you think I’ll get called to the next academy after the June 21st academy! Only ask because I don’t think I’ll make the June 21st academy based on the timing of how long it takes for all the paper work to get approved ! Plus I still have yet to receive back anything about medical as well! My background investigator just tells me that no news is good news and how if my case wasn’t active I wouldn’t have been able to take my psych interview June 5th.

Looking for more information from people who already are awaiting or received an offer letter.

Did my medical/background April 21st, May 24 I did my psych exam, June 5th I did my psych interview!
Haven’t got no results about medical, haven’t heard from my background investigator either ! Roughly how long till I get an offer letter ?
