Need some reassurance

I recently turned 18 and have been exploring adult spaces like grindr. I’ve been trading pics a lot and chatting a bunch. one person asked for a specific pic (which I gave) and my insta (which I also gave) I refused to give my phone number or move off the app. I realized today that it seems a little suspicious, and so I deleted my insta and grindr account as my insta had my last name and high school. Will someone ease my nerves or give thoughts?
