Luxury sleeper buses in India are terrifying once you actually face an accident

I was travelling from UP(My University) to Mumbai(My home) in a luxury sleeper bus today. Suddenly heard a massive sound on the highway and the whole front side got destroyed — windshield shattered, radiator/front body damaged badly. Somehow everyone around me is safe.

Honestly, this made me realize how unsafe overnight bus travel can feel despite paying “luxury” prices. One second you’re sleeping peacefully, the next second people are shouting and glass is everywhere.

Highways are getting better in India, but over speeding + long driver shifts + night travel is still a dangerous combo.

Attaching the photo from the highway. Still shaken a bit..
