Help as a FTB?

Hello. Looking for a house as a FTB with my partner. Partner works full time for the NHS and I am a student nurse at university. Looking to buy a house within the <£150k range, or up to 200k but I’m not sure if we could.
Partner has a good credit score of “very good” and I have a “low credit score”.
Partner had an appointment with a mortgage advisor, who said he could get an offer of £135k with a £7,500 deposit with Coventry building society. This is just with his details.
If I joined too and wanted to be on the mortgage with him, would it bring the offer down as I have a low score and am a student? Although I am a student, I could still save around £4/5k to contribute to a deposit, even if it is in his name.
Is it better for him to do it alone? Would the offer also increase over a few months if we were able to save around £10k? We would ideally like a £140k-150k house.

Thanks in advance, I am new to this so I feel pretty uneducated so my apologies if I get anything incorrect. X

How to change my life

Hi everyone. Just looking for some advice. I’m a 5ft3 girl who is currently 108.7kg. I suffered with depression for so many years and it led me to binging and just generally not looking after myself. I’m really trying to get my life back on track; I’ve started eating better and have lost 5kg in 2 months. I really want to lose 40-50kg - I know this will take a loooong time, but I’m willing to put in the work as I’ve changed my environment, job and am starting to feel better mentally too. I was just wondering, I’m a bit sedentary at the moment, apart from when I’m at uni or work. I have joined the gym but I’m absolutely TERRIFIED to go, I have really bad anxiety. I’ve set a goal to go on Tuesday; but I was just wondering whether to just do cardio at the gym or whether eventually adding weight training will help me. I basically want the healthiest but quickest way to lose weight.
The meals I’ve been eating recently have been like porridge/weetabix for breakfast, lunch I will have 2 bags of fridge raiders (lol I’m lazy) and dinner I will have those ryvita thins with cream cheese low fat and some salmon or tuna, and cucumber. I’ve been trying not to snack as well, however pastries are my weakness lol.

Any advice would be appreciated, as I just really want to become a different person as I’m so scared of falling back into a rut and being super depressed again. Thank you!
