Jimily is such a celebrity!!! My beautiful baby boy🫶🏻

I'm devastated, my sweet Baby is now gone

He was euthanazied today, the vet was so kind and said that we did everything we could and beyond.

I'm at lost of words, he was such a good boy from the start to the end... I will miss him so much.

I wan't to make a memorial of him, I got some of his fur and paw/tail prints but would love to have some portraits of him if possible, and only if some of you wants🤍

The next few days will be hard but I have my other babies to take care and love. Doby has the best life ever, from a therapy rat at a school with Jimily to adopting him, he was the best and we love him so much.

I already miss his smell. Thank you so much for the love y'all are giving to him and his brothers, it is truly appreciated.

I may not post for some time, I need time for myself and to grief.

My electric tooth brush stopped vibrating, I decided to open it to see if I can fix it but I can't seem to find the problem. Occasionally, before I opened it, I was able to get it to vibrate gain when I shook it or tapped it against my hand, but it stopped after a few seconds. It charge well.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

He is in a temporary cage alone just the time that the hole close. He still gets supervised interaction with his cagemates a few times a day.

Doby has been sick lately so I haven't been posting alot and I apology! He will be getting his abcess removed on tuesday and we'll see how it goes

We did go back to the vet, but a different one. The one we did go at first didn't really know what to do, they didn't even knew how to handle correctly a rat. The treatement they gave us wasn't working.

A week ago we went to a vet that was referred to us. And she was so nice and knew what to do. They couldn't get the chunk out of his ear sk he was put to sleep with gaz, making it easier. He was so wobbly after, but he was going well. They gave us antibiotic and drops for his ear for a month, morning and night. He is doing very well at this time but he is losing alot of weight. He was 185g at gis healthy weight but is now 155g. We give him more treats to try to make him gain weight, I weight him everyday just to make sure.

I'm happy I did go get a second opinion with a more experienced vet!

Found in a forest in Canada, Québec.

Doby seems to be itching alot, but not his ear that we have been treating for an infection. I played with him on my bed and suddently saw a dark line on his cheek. I picked him up and saw blood. I panicked and quickly took him and carefully disinfected the wound with saline. It dosen't seem to be that deep. We think that It ***may*** be a fight with his brothers since we heard them squeak, but not mote than usual. There we're drops of blood on a big tunnel where they like to play. I will separate them in 2 separate cages (Jimily and Doby together) to let Doby heal.

Any suggestion on how to to make doby itch his wound?? Any other advices?? Thank you all If I cannot respond to everybody!

Doby has an external ear infection. It is treated with ear drops for 14 days. I'm glad I didn't go there for nothing!

They took a sample from his ear and tested it. Doby has such small ears that they couldn't find a small enough one! But it did work out... He was so well behaved, he didn't move while the vet was examining him!

I love him so much. He even licked the vet! What a cutie.
