milkweed replacement?

every year, my milkweed gets infested with yellow aphids and beetles. I try to catch them early, hose them off, squish them, to no avail. Nothing seems to eat them either, even though I do notice an occasional ladybug. It looks terrible and blighted by July every year, and it's pretty prominent in my landscape. I love the butterflies and want to support polinators, but i'd also like to have a nice-looking yard to bring me joy.

This grosses me out so much I'm now considering just pulling up the milkweed and putting something else in. The seeds are a bit much too, I’m constantly having to pull up baby milkweed sprouts or my front yard would be overrun.

Does anyone have suggestions on a good replacement? Would love something pollinator friendly with a colorful bloom that is resistant to these suckers!!!
