Is this tomatillo or a weed?

There were tomatillos planted in this area by the previous owners. These started to pop up a few months ago and when I reverse image searched, google said it’s pokeweed. Any ideas what this is?

Realizing my cute new ground cover is...pokeweed ??

Dear pokeweed experts of reddit, please confirm the bad news I'm already fearing... they looked so different as sprouts from seeds compared to the big shoots I'm used to noticing in my yard, but I saw a post here earlier this week that has me... worried lol There's still a large pile of seeds and I've already accidentally transplanted some of the sprouts to my garden bed.

Confirmation and recommendations greatly appreciated 😬

Tree growing can’t tell if its avocado dogwood pistachio I just don’t know.

I’d appreciate it if someone could help me identify this tree I noticed maybe 3 months ago growing in my yard?

airborne poke allergies?

I know you aren't doctors! but has anyone felt like they might have airborne pokeweed allergies? I have lived here for 8yrs now and have been dealing with throat agitation this past year...last summer my hose was leaking up by the house and the pokeweed thrived in a new and more intense way than previous years. I know allergies can suddenly develop (because life is weird), and I'm just wondering if anyone here has experienced throat agitation around this plant, or if I can weed it out as a potential cause for my problem (asking here before I just rip them out for the season, wanted to hear from people instead of just Google)

Few Best Online Pokies Australian Sites I’ve Tried and How They Compare

I've been reading a lot of discussions about best online pokies Australia lately, and it seems like everyone has a different opinion on what makes a site trustworthy.

Some people seem focused on game variety, others care about payment methods, and some only care about whether instant withdrawals are processed smoothly.

For those who have been playing for a while, what are the signs that make you feel comfortable using a site?

Is there something specific you always check before signing up, or is it more about reputation and player feedback?

Genuinely interested because I feel like it's getting harder to separate genuine player experiences from marketing content online.

1st Time Cooking Pokeweed

Hi! Harvested these beauties in my backyard, and began peeling the skin off, but I wanted to know if I only needed to peel the fibrous pink tinted skin or should I go deeper with my vegetable peeler? The stalk on the left is fully peeled and the one on the right is not for reference. I know to parboil at least twice through, but any other insight is appreciated, thanks in advance!

Pokes 'n Chokes

My pokeweed and sunchoke hedge is thriving, completely hiding this part of my fence from both sides. The pokes are getting so big, my husband asked me to trim them so they stop triggering our driveway cam. 😆

Are these the babies of a monster?

Keep popping up all over my veg garden in zone 6b. I have been pulling them thinking they are pokeweed bc of the red stems. Thoughts?

Saw the T H I C C E S T American Pokeweed stem I've ever seen yesterday. These pics really don't do it justice, it was about as thick as full height knotweed stems I've seen around!

Unfortunately this set of Poke is right on a road, watched it go pretty much entirely uneaten last year despite an abundance of robins, catbirds, mockingbirds, and even a few waxwings. Still, probably provides for some of the many random invertebrates around here. There's been an absolute TON of Pokeweed growing around this year, actually (like one area where I only saw a few bushes spaced out last year had like seven growing near each other).

Also yes, I live in a knotweed infested area. It's in my yard, even. There was some Poke I posted last year that was fighting for its life near the knotweed.
