Has anyone tried this and does it relieve pressure points around the ankle bone?

I got a FR UFR Street boot, but stock liner is too stiff and supportive around my right ankle one, so I basically cannot ride it.

I am a bit skeptical about it so I am thinking whether to get a new liner for this boot.
