Hi, been dealing with this for years. Had surgery on one foot for the release and removal of giant heel spur on the bottom. I need it on the other foot but the ordeal was honestly so horrible I don’t even want to. I know I need to lose weight and that would help but 50 steps or so and I can barely walk. I’ve tried stretching, inserts, cortisone shots, and shoe after shoe. Looking for suggestions because the ones I’ve found on google weren’t great lol. I can’t wear shoes like Birkenstock or Dansko (which sucks because I loved my Danskos when I worked in a hospital). Brooks were ok but not great, ASICS the same, New Balance awful, Rebock and Nike useless. Skechers have been surprisingly good but only for a couple of weeks. After that my feet hurt again. I have a highish arch and tend to walk slightly to the outside of my feet. Anyone have walking shoes that they love and think I should try? I’m thinking I need cushion as much or more than support. Thanks!
