I’ve been diagnosed with ghsv2 down there and I’m very active and have been eating healthier. I’m in month 4 of being diagnosed and I worry with how hard I’ve been lifting or putting my body through HIIT workouts that I might develop an outbreak- is that possible?

I’ve been thinking of taking a pole fitness class with one of my friends and I worry that now with this diagnosis that I won’t be able to do it. I’ve started taking the valtrex anti virals daily for about two weeks now but have been having small reactions to them like small harmless pimples popping up and more acne- is this normal as my body adjusts to me taking anti virals daily, scared to ask my doctor as she didn’t want me to do the suppressive method because she thought I didn’t need it since my symptoms were mild yet I can’t fathom spreading this to myself or one of my friends that I workout with or do fitness classes with.

Any advice?
TLDR : can I do a group fitness pole dancing class with my friends while I have ghsv type two? But no active outbreak?

Hi I’ve been really stressed about giving it to myself in a different area. I have ghsv type 2 and I recently traveled and made sure to maintain good hygiene habits. I spent a lot of time in bathing suits and as such may have touched an area where I might have been shedding asymptomaticly (since I get it on my butt)and I worry that I have herpetic whitlow as I’m in my third month of diagnosis and have been on and off with the lysine and valtrex as I allow my body to build up antibodies.

The area on my finger is red and taut yet no blisters and some irritation but not painful and it comes and goes same with the redness. It started to feel this way about 6-7 days ago

Any suggestions from anyone who shares the same thoughts or experiences is greatly welcomed and appreciated

I’m just spiraling out th I have it to myself on my finger
