Returning to Minecraft Bedrock edition after a long hiatus and found it to be broken. [bedrock]

So recently I decided to try Minecraft Bedrock edition again, which I played before eventually moving to Java. And I decide to revisit my favorite server, The Hive. I tried to play Deathrun, but I noticed that the sensitivity or input delay seemed off, I tried adjusting it, but to no avail. I then moved to survival, starting a new world. Upon turning 180 degrees to look behind be, I noticed the image seemed to “catch” on something at around the 90 degree mark. I could swipe my mouse across the desk, lift it off, then my character would turn a bit, catch or stutter, then complete the turn with no player input. Inputs from the mouse were also extremely delayed, I would look up to punch a tree, and about 3 seconds after my character would comply.
When I previously played on the same PC, it was very smooth and polished, but now it’s either my computer’s rejecting it or some update they introduced has ruined it. As of now it’s virtually unplayable, would appreciate some assistance in this matter.

I own an i3 7130U, 2.70GHz, SSD storage, in a desktop casing. I am trying to reach at least Gold III in Mace on FlowPvP, but the skipped inputs and wildly inconsistent framerate are really holding me back. I would appreciate some advice on how to optimize it, at least for consistent frames.
