I was wondering if anyone knows of/has videos of some of John’s early gigs, like from when he started off doing smaller clubs and colleges. There’s one on youtube when he did a show at UCB, the one where he talks about hook hands and basketball, and it’s a really lowkey and pleasant vibe.
i’ve been in vocal training for about five years now and am still lacking noticeable vibrato.
i’ve heard a few things but mainly that vibrato is something that’s naturally developed when the voice is supported. i have a strong head voice with good support, however no vibrato.
i’m able to force vibrato in a kind of tremolo style but it’s not great.
any advice? do some peoples’ voices just not have natural vibrato? is there a healthy technique to make my vibrato more apparent? lmk 🫶
