Don't take this as a rant, it was just a dumb thought i had when riding earlier haha... So I'm living in the province and this morning I decided to go into town to get some groceries. I pass through maybe 4 to 5 barangays on the way. Does anyone else when they're on their motorcycle at times spot two dogs stuck to each other on the side of the road and think... well shit here comes a new litter of puppies running around 😅🤣😂

I'm a dog lover and I had pittbulls when i was in the states. I usually see other foreigners complain about the dog issues here in the Philippines. For me personally I haven't had any bad experiences with the little fuckers running around haha. I've noticed its the same type of breed of dogs and I think their known as "witch dogs" I'm not sure the actual name. Where i live, there is a girl that usually lingers around that i feed scraps to. She sleeps by the front door now and usually barks when someone passes by. So I have her as a alarm system now 😅

I've been here in the Romblon province since April, before I left Manila I got a visa waiver for 30 days then last month of May I went all the way back to Manila (12 hour travel on ship) to apply for a 2 month visa plus the Acr I card before my waiver ended June 4th.

They told me the Acr I card would take up to 10 days but they said it would be okay for me to just pick it up when I'm required to leave on August 4th so I wouldn't need to go allllll the way back to Manila on the ship.

I quit both my jobs before I left to the Philippines... it was one of those "FCK IT" moments im tired of the rat race there in the states. Okay back to everything.. so my girlfriend suggested I stay another 2 months with her so I can spend my birthday with her in September. Before anyone says "she doesn't want her atm to leave" (she is pretty successful and never once asked me for money) its not my fault you chose the wrong one and want to spread your misery 😅

Since I don't have my physical Acr I card or the information on it since its still at the immigration office I don't think i can renew online.. so me and my girlfriend are going back to Manila on the ship (i hate the ride 😂) to renew my visa another 2 months.

But what I'm curious about is it okay for me to renew my visa 36 days early since it exspires August 4th? I seen online it said 30 days early you can do? But I'm also seeing different answers that you can renew it over 30 days? Will I get hassled for not picking up my Acr I card on time even though they told me it was okay to pick it up in August when my visa expires? If anyone can answer my questions it will be greatly appreciated. Have a good morning 🙏

Good afternoon everyone... I've been here in the Philippines since April visiting my gf on her province. I've been having a good time and everyone has been really good to me. It took me a while to get use to all the staring but I'm fine with it now and my gf told me they never or hardly ever see foreigners on the island that its normal. So this morning was a typical morning, woke up at 4:30 am because thats when my gf opens up her store. We had to go pay the electricity bill in the near by town 20 minutes away. We get to the building and its packed. So I just tell my gf I'll wait outside. I go back towards the motorbike and noticed a man across the street sitting in his work van head and hand outside the window smoking a cigarette giving me the evil eye and was locked on me (not sure if thats his natural face expression haha) so I lock eyes on him too till he looks away then I look again and the same pissed off face smoking his cigarette. Being from California or simply the USA when someone stares at you especially mad dogging you that means they want problems. I wanted to say wtf you looking at but had to remind myself im a guest here don't act a fool... I'm not sure if the guy was just that curious of seeing a foreigner? Maybe he doesn't like seeing foreigners with a Filipina women? This was the first time i got stared at like that here and gots me curious now. Now that I think about it maybe I should waved at the dude and was thinking to much of it? Haha idk but I truly do appreciate the hospitality that I have been receiving while here. I love it here and come with respect 🙏

Hello everyone, I've been here in the Philippines visiting my gf since April 6th. Before we left to her province I paid for a additional month till June 4th at some mall in Manila. Basically, I love it out here, the culture and people here. Everyone has been good to me, being stared at took me a while to get use to but everyone here knows me now hahaha... yesterday I attended my first fiesta and will be attending the next 2 today and Saturday. I'm happy now the island isn't going through black outs anymore 😪 those days and nights were rough but swimming at Cantingas River helped haha 👌 so I'm not ready to leave yet back to the United States and my question is would i be able to pay for another month or 2 at the mall i originally went to? If I'm able to change my departure date again with United airlines I plan on staying for another month or 2 🙏 thanks you anyone who has advice
