MCFT

Is MasterCraft ($MCFT) a value trap right now?

I've been digging into MCFT and I'm struggling to see the bull case, looks very risky.

- Net income went from ~$69M in FY23 to a small GAAP loss in FY26

- Share count went from ~16M to ~24M after the Marine Products acquisition

- Management expects retail demand to drop another 5–10% through year-end

- Industry ski/wake registrations were down ~18% y/y in August

Revenue looks better on paper, but a lot of that is acquired. To me it looks like a shrinking market, thinner per-share profits, and a big integration to pull off at the same time. Feels like a bad bet until demand bottoms.

That said, adjusted EBITDA did improve and they have no long-term debt, so I'm curious what bulls are seeing. Is there a catalyst I'm missing, or is this a classic cyclical value trap?

Disclosure: I work in the marine tech industry. Not financial advice.

Billy from Good Breeze reviews the new Foil Drive Assist MAX+ Gen 2.5

Just dropped a ride + review of the new Foil Drive Assist MAX+ Gen 2.5.

Billy takes it out and talks through what’s actually different from the original MAX — more thrust, more runtime, the new FM+650 battery, and how it feels on smaller foils. Also covers setup notes and using it for surf, downwind, wing, flatwater, and wake.

If you’re already on a MAX or deciding between MAX+ and Fusion, the review is pretty straightforward. Happy to answer questions on setups.
