CA - Update on the small living space 31M

Took the brutal criticism and added some color changed things around and included some storage. I like it better. Still waiting on a 8' round beige underrug for the dining table and need to get the beach stuff off the wall but your advice was all excellent. Yes I realize I have an ikea showroom but I lack design skills so here we are.😅

Sanity check

31M Canadian here. Wife is Turkish and her whole family lives in Antalya area. Through some savvy trading in my LIRA I've grown it to $2MM. Normally these (federal jurisdiction) locked in accounts are inaccessible until age 65ish. However as non residents we can transfer to a RRSP and thus a RRIF after 2 years non residency. Afterwords due to canada turkey tax treaty we can have 15% withholding tax and tax free status in turkey for 20 years. $2mm should generate approx $80K CAD in income as well as shield us from any inflation in Turkey as we would leave it in something like XEQT non resident account with either quest trade or IB. This would theoretically put us in the top 1% of local earners and since she is a local and I qualify for citizenship, visa isn't a issue.

I think as long as we have unregistered funds for the first 2 years to establish non residency this path makes sense unless I'm missing anything? Retirement before 40 seems to be realistic for us if we don't decide to funnel money into canadian real estate.

Meissen Vase - Estonia

This vase was given to us as a wedding gift from our Estonian aunt and she drove it from Estonia to us. She said it's been in her family since the mid 1800s. I had never heard of Meissen until now. Anyone able to ascertain anything from this beyond what Gemini provided? Or any idea of approximate value?

Joining the family!

(Remove if not allowed)

The big day is finally here! After months of preparations and absolutely insane bureaucracy today I get married to my beautiful fiancé. I am from Canada and she is Turkish. We met back in Canada and fell in love. I was nervous coming to Turkiye and staying with her parents as I had never met them beyond a video call, but they immediately accepted and welcomed me as their son. I also know no turkish yet but will commit to learn. I am beyond excited. We had our Kina Gecesi last night and it was so beautiful. Some of my family from Canada also arrived in turkey and participated. This is my third time to Turkiye but only first time in Antalya and I can say that this is such a wonderful country, the people are incredible. I cannot wait to learn the language so I can communicate properly with my new family (and not use google translate)! I even told my fiancé that we should plan to move back here once we have enough foreign savings to live off of and raise a family. This is the happiest day of my life!

What to call in-laws?

I (31M Canada) will be getting married to my fiancé (32F Turkish/Canadian) in Antalya next month. What do I call her father and mother? My fiance tells me it is strange to call them by their first names. What is the normal?

My fiancé is from Antalya and we are flying there in June for our wedding. She's introduced me to authentic adana kebab here in Canada and I'm wondering if anyone can recommend truly delicious adana kebab in Antalya? We are staying in Cankaya but i will go anywhere for the good stuff.
