I am looking for a few people who are easy going to hang out and play games with after work or after school.

A bit of backstory: a few of us originally met while playing Ragnarok Origin Classic. Most of us are working people so our group is very relaxed not mean to each other. We do not have any problems.

We know that what happens in our lives is more important so we understand that real life comes first!

You can play games with us when you want to. Whether you want to play in ranked games after a long day or just talk to us in voice chat you are very welcome to join us.

The games we usually play are:

\\\* FPS and Tactical games like Rainbow six siege, Valorant, CS2, Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Ghost Recon Wildlands

2 months on Bazzite and to be honest I am seriously considering deleting everything off my Windows drive now.

Hey guys, just wanted to write a little appreciation post after daily driving Bazzite for roughly 2 months. I had dual-booted Bazzite on my second NVMe SSD, as I kept Windows 11 on my primary one just for Valorant and Rainbow Six Siege.

Though I don't play those two very much anymore, and since Bazzite has worked so flawlessly, I will likely delete the Windows drive sooner rather than later to free it up.

I'm not sure if I want to mention this, but improved quality of recordings/streams. My gameplay recordings and streams are Much clearer than before.

My clips used to look extremely pixelated, grainy and blurry during fast movement on Windows. I do have the same obs settings from windows.

Frametime stability the 1% lows and frametime graphs are incredibly flat versus Windows.

Games that previously suffered from random micro-stuttering now run flawlessly smooth. Heroic Launcher takes the pain out of non-Steam games.

I was concerned about handling repacks and non-Steam titles, but loading them in Heroic games launcher turned out to be far simpler than I thought.

You click on install, indicate the setup.exe, wait as it builds its prefix, and add it directly to Steam.

When you are having a trouble with the OS you can just go on reddit or use gemini (That's what I used with the installation process up until now when I'm having trouble since I dont have any linux experience)

Biggest trouble I had was the screen with gamescope or the console like ui since I installed bazzite deck it was using my secondary monitor and kept asking gemini for the fix but nothing works. It turns out I just had to search on my browser for the fix. The desktop mode used my main monitor from the start.

Not seeing that unpredictable antimalware service executable process consume your cpu and memory usage is a dream.

Anyone who is not sure with Bazzite I suggest just go for it.

​Hey everyone! Just wanted to share my experience after 2 months on Bazzite.

​😱 Why I Left Windows

​I got hit by silent malware on Windows 11 that hacked my Discord account out of nowhere. I did a complete fresh reformat of Windows, but after installing the 007 repack, my Steam account got hacked too. Windows Defender was completely useless against background token grabbers.

​💿 My Dual-NVMe Setup (For Now)

​I installed Bazzite on a second 500GB NVMe SSD, keeping Windows 11 isolated on NVMe 1. I originally kept Windows around just for Valorant and Rainbow Six Siege, but I barely play them anymore. After 2 great months on Bazzite, I’m planning to wipe Windows entirely and claim that second NVMe for more Linux storage!

​📈 The Upgrades & Workflow

​Crystal-Clear Streams & Recordings: My live streams and recorded gameplay clips are significantly clearer now—no more pixelated, grainy footage like I used to get on Windows.

​Super Easy Non-Steam/Repack Installs: Running non-Steam games and repacks using Heroic Games Launcher (Flatpak) on Bazzite was surprisingly effortless. You just point it to the setup.exe, let it build an isolated prefix, and hit "Add to Steam."

​Smoother Frame Times: Games that had random micro-stutters on Windows now run with flat, rock-solid frametime graphs.

​Better FPS & Zero Bloat: No background Windows telemetry, Copilot, or Defender scans eating CPU cycles.

​Total Security (Heroic + Sandbox): Because Linux sandboxes Wine prefixes and Bazzite is immutable, executables can't touch system files or steal browser tokens.

​Console Vibe: Boots straight into Steam Game Mode just like a desktop Steam Deck.

​If you're hesitant about leaving Windows over security or performance worries, Bazzite with Heroic on a dedicated NVMe is easily the best PC upgrade I've made!
