Obsidian users: how do you use it for your RPGs?

I'm starting to get into Obsidian and I'm discovering that there are a ton of RPG plugins for it.

How do y'all use it for your RPGs (especially as DMs)? Are the RPG plugins worthwhile? Interested in hearing about how you structure your vaults and use tags if you don't use the plugins.

Recommendations for OSR-ish games, hacks, and modules that don't have a fantasy setting

I'm looking for ideas to appeal to disparate interests at my table. What are your favourite OSR-ish games, hacks, and modules that don't have a fantasy setting? More interested in hearing from people experiences. Thanks!

I'm already familiar with the core Mark of the Odd games (Into the Odd and sundry Bastionlands) and Mothership, so no need to get into those.

Do we know what wooden architecture in classical Angkor/the Khmer Empire looked like?

I understand that the remaining, stone edifices of Angkor are almost exclusively temple architecture and that most other structures of the Khmer Empire (including palaces) were made of wood.

Do we know what the wooden buildings of, say, 10th through 13th century Angkor would have looked like?

RPG stores in Ottawa with non-D&D content?

Nerd alert: I'm passing through Ottawa and would like to hit up a games store or two. I'm interested in stuff that isn't just D&D and sometimes it's hard to tell from the websites. Can anyone recommend a store to check out?

Session notes as a DM: what do you put in yours?

I try to keep good session notes but I struggle with putting either way too much or way too little. As well as sharing what you do, I'd like to hear how successful you feel your notes are and how happy you are with them.

edit: I mean post-session, not prep

Operation Unfathomable (either system): parties leaving the map?

I'll be running Operation Unfathomable soon and I wonder how ready I should be for a party that wants to explore the tunnels that leave the map. I know the player-facing map tries to lead them into the heart of it so I imagine that does some of the heavy lifting. Still, I can imagine parties who want to >!turn SW instead of NE when they enter the tunnels!<, just for the hell of it.

So, I'm curious how many of you had parties that left the map >!in directions other than returning to Fort Enterprise or entering the Odious Uplands!<? Did you prepare anything on those directions, or generate it procedurally? Anyway advice to share based on your experience?
