Domain migration: how long does it usually take?

Domain migration: how long does it usually take?

I submitted a domain migration request in Google Search Console from simplevirtualtour.it to simplevirtualtour.com

Does anyone know roughly how long it usually takes for Google to fully process the change?

Right now I’m also seeing a lot of indexing errors on the .com domain, so I’m wondering if that’s normal during the migration phase or if I should be concerned.

Accidentally set homepage views as purchase conversions (with value). How badly did I mess up the algorithm?

Hi everyone, I made a classic rookie mistake and need some advice on how badly I’ve messed up the machine learning / algorithm optimization for my account.

By mistake, I set my homepage views as a primary purchase conversion goal, complete with an associated conversion value. This setup was active for about a month.

As you can see from the dashboard, the data is completely wild:

  • Actual Spend: €161.06
  • Recorded Conversions: 5,086.94 (fake, just standard page visits)
  • Conversion Value: €106,874.39 (completely fake)

Fortunately, the budget was low, so I didn't lose real money out of pocket. However, I’m really worried about what's happening under the hood. My campaigns rely on Smart Bidding (Maximize Conversion Value / tROAS).

I have a few questions for the PPC experts here:

  1. Algorithm Damage: The algorithm is now trained to look for users who just browse the homepage, thinking they are high-value buyers. How long will it take to unlearn this, or should I just blow up the campaigns and start fresh?
  2. Data Exclusions: If I use the Data Exclusions tool in Google Ads for this specific one-month period, will the algorithm successfully ignore these fake conversions for future bidding optimization?
  3. Reporting: Is there any way to retroactively fix or adjust historical data so my dashboard isn't polluted forever, or do I just have to live with this massive fake spike in my charts?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can point me in the right direction!

Honestly curious: How can I tell the difference between real people and AI here?

Hi everyone!

I'm a new user and I've been enjoying the deep-dives in some subreddits.

However, with how fast AI is evolving, I sometimes find it hard to tell if I'm reading a genuine personal experience or something generated by a bot.

As someone new to the platform, are there specific "red flags" I should look for to spot AI-generated posts? Or is the moderation here usually good enough to catch the "slop" before it hits the front page?

I really value the human element of Reddit, so I'd love to hear how you all navigate this!
