Hi all!

I’m relatively new to Spark (I started around November 2025). I have never switched zones before, but my local zone (let’s call it Zone 1) is about 15 minutes from my home.

The next closest Walmart is about 30 minutes from my home but about 45 minutes from my local store in a separate zone (Zone 2).

Lately, I’ve been seeing GMD offers from Zone 1 that have many drop-offs at the end that are basically 5 minutes from the Walmart in Zone 2. Is this normal in relatively rural zones?

I also have never switched zones, but I’m considering doing it if I’m going to be delivering packages in that direction anyway.

Any info, tips, or tricks about switching zones and whether it is worth it to since the two zones cover pretty rural areas?

Zone 1 GMD orders are usually somewhere between 30 and 50 miles long, which can be frustrating, and I have no clue if Zone 2 is denser/shorter distance deliveries (but I suspect it’s very similar population density tbh).

tl;dr should I change to Zone 2 if i’m in the area and try to research their offers or just stick to Zone 1?
