AITA for leaving my mom at home?

I(28f) didn’t take my mom(51f) on a family/friend lake day after a fight over my brother(33m) and how she favors him. My brother has never moved out and actually moved his wife in a few years ago. They’ve since had my niece(15mos) and nephew(2mos). Keep in mind, neither he nor my SIL have any sort of responsibility over the home. They don’t clean after themselves or their kids, leaving dirty diapers wherever they may fall, spills, dishes, bathroom messes, laundry all for the rest of us to clean while they go off wherever they want, often leaving the kids with us too. Theu stay in a MIL suite in the backyard, with 3 unfixed(because it’ll take away their “manhood” (2M, 1F) pit bulls kept in a 12x3 cage all day and night. Since they’ve never trained the dogs or introduced them properly to our own ones already there, their oldest pit is very aggressive towards our own and recently escaped the cage and attacked ours. After a $1600 vet visit, we’ve had to keep our dog inside to heal, which he hates and he ate through our office room door where he’d been staying. The argument started essentially because my mom was demanding I pay for it and I said I wouldn’t. I can afford it, but I’m sick of having to be responsible for my brothers life, and I told her if it had been anyone else, my brother would likely be in court and forced to pay the vet bill AND damages and lose the dog. I’m currently looking to move out for my own safety and that of my dog, I haven’t before because it’s tradition to leave home once married, but I’m so sick and tired of the constant arguing over the babying of her son who, not to mention, actively dislikes her and find every excuse to berate her the moment she says anything he doesn’t agree with/want to do. Both of them are chronic liars, there are MANY examples I can give but ultimately, they’re both just unregulated and childish. My bf is making me feel bad for not taking all of this better but he hasn’t lived his entire life in this dynamic as he’s also the oldest of 3, regardless. I ended up leaving for the lake day on my own without my mom and it breaks my heart. I feel I’ve tried my entire life to have a good relationship with her but the disparity of how she treats us and her constant disrespect of me is getting hard to handle.
