Is it just me, or has Ahmedabad become way more chaotic lately?

Liquor is easily available through pan shops in almost every area, even with strict laws. At the same time, nuisance, crime, and even murders seem to be increasing.

So what exactly is going on with enforcement? Are authorities turning a blind eye, or is corruption this deep-rooted? And if that’s the case, what does it mean for the average person?
