Lactate Testing Protocol

Pace TSS/HR Time
8:30 50 15
8:00 55 6
7:30 60 6
7:05 70 6
6:40 85 6
6:15 100 6
6:00 110 6

How good/bad is this for a testing protocol?

8:30 is around my easy pace, 7:05 is what I think my LT1 is, and 6:15 is what I think my LT2 maybe is.

My plan right now, since I haven't raced in a while, and have no clue where my paces are, is to do a less precise test, then another more precise one later. The one i'll do later will probably have longer stages and will be better honed in on what I think LT. My LT2 could honestly be like 6:00 or 7:00.

Like, if I thought from the initial test my LT1 was between 7:05 and 6:40, then I'd do a second step test the next week where I'd do maybe 7:05, 6:58, 6:55, 6:45, but with 8 minute stages and slowed down a bit because the stage is longer.

I don't know what I'm doing and I don't know if I'm missing something really obvious.

How to heal from a difficult breakup?

Met 19F online 9 months ago and started dating right away. Our relationship started out super affectionate. We said I love you at around 6 weeks and by around 10 weeks she said that we were soulmates. By 4 months she said that she would love me forever, that she could live a thousand lives and never deserve me, and that meeting me was one of the best things that ever happened to her and that she thanked me largely for the best year of her life. She excitedly talked about our future together and was absolutely certain that we were going to stay together forever. When I asked about what would have to happen for our relationship to end, she seemed confident that there was no way that could ever happen, unless I personally wronged her closest family members.

In the first 6 months, we were extremely affectionate and cuddly with each other and had sex multiple times a week. We didn't really fight, but sometimes I would bring up things she mentioned that hurt my feelings and made me feel like she was putting me down. In hindsight I think she might've been trying to make me feel bad about myself, but I can't be sure. Sometimes she would shut down during these conversations, but we always seemed to forgive each other.

She was pretty open from the start about her challenges with anxiety and depression. She was so happy the first few months that when I was surprised to hear that she had depression. I felt like I had never met a more joyful person, and she told me how she loved that she was happy every second she got to spend with me. She started to sometimes seem sad around me as the relationship progressed, and by around 6 months she was often pretty sad in the mornings around me, but we were able to discuss it openly and not let it impact things. When she got sad she would get cold and kind of mean, but she told me not to take it personally.

After around 6 months, around when summer started, something seemed to change pretty suddenly, and she stopped talking about our future together like it was certain. She also stopped being as affectionate and now only wanted to have sex once every month or 2, which she blamed on starting birth control. She said she wasn't as affectionate anymore because she was overstimulated. She told me repeatedly that nothing was wrong with our relationship. I didn't worry about either of these things much because of birth control, and I felt she could've just been under more stress, or might've been doing worse with her mental health.

As the summer progressed she got less and less affectionate to the point where she showing almost no affection. She smiled and laughed around me but most of the time it came across like she wasn't genuinely happy and was only trying to appear so. Every time I saw her she spent the first 30 minutes complaining about work. In the last month or so she started getting weird about saying I love you and she avoided talking about the upcoming school year. She also started constantly assuming the worst intentions, and stuck to her negative assumptions even after I explained my side. She even slapped me a couple of times.

A few days ago, she broke up me. She said that she fell out of love at the end of the school year and checked out emotionally. She told me that when she's been seeing me she feels so horrible that she feels disgusted, that she couldn't imagine a future where we're dating and she's happy, that she was afraid to leave because she was afraid nobody else would love her as much as I do, that she thought our relationship was going to end up like her parents' relationship and then told me about how her dad was physically abusive.

She also told me that she felt like she had to pretend to be someone she wasn't, and that she felt like we spend an unhealthy amount of time together (we studied together 3 days a week and she slept over 2 nights a week). She also told me that she only liked me as much as she did because of her bad experiences with other men in the past. In this conversation she didn't say a single nice thing about me. She also broke up with me while I driving on a 60mph road, and I had to pull over because I thought I was going to crash, and she made me drive her back to her car before we were fully done with the conversation.

I am upset because this person that I thought I treated well went from saying she'd love me forever, to not being being into me romantically, to hating me in 3 months. Most of the things in our relationship that bothered her she never mentioned to me, even when I checked with her to make sure everything was okay. How can I heal from this breakup and not develop trust issues?

What does hybrid mean for instruction mode?

I am taking Business Admin:Marketing & Log 3250 next semester and it has a lecture time set in my schedule but says the delivery mode is hybrid. Does that mean that recitation is online, or does it mean that there isn't always lecutre?

People say I look like I'm 15 and I'm 19. How can I make this less bad with my haircut?

I have a weird expression in my face in half these photos. I think a lot of the issue is that I have like no jawline and can't grow any passable amount of facial hair, and there's a good chance I won't ever be able to.

How slow is too slow for easy runs?

I'm in like 19 minute 5k shape, and I have been for a last few months when I came back from an extended break due to illness. Since I've came back, my easy run pace has been consistent around 11:00/mile pace. Is this too slow to make progress? I haven't really progressed much
