Hi everyone, I am still shaken up, so if I sound a little mumbo jumbo I apologize. If there is anything I can clarify let me know. Thank you tremendously for taking the time to read.

My baby Zaia is 1 1/2 years old, she is so playful, curious, sweet, and loving. Zaia is my first cat that is completely mine, and not a "family" cat. I am fully responsible for her, and she is genuinely like my child.

Unfortunately, Friday 5/8/26 @8:30am, I woke up for work and didnt hear Zaia's usual morning meows and greetings. I panicked, looked all around my house and she was nowhere to be found. Finally, @8:40am, I found her underneath my front porch, crying and terrified. As I brought her inside, I noticed her walking with her front left paw completely up.

I'm not completely sure how Zaia got outside. Its more than likely she snuck past my brother coming home from work the night of 5/7/26. She does love the ideo of outside and has tried sneaking past us to get out a handful of times.
As for the break in her left arm, I dont have a true idea. Her doctor told us that my poor girl probably had got it caught in/on something and twisted it.

Me and my bestfriend arrived to her local pet emergency room @1:15pm. We waited for hours and getting X-Rays, we hear that my sweet girls leg is severely broken and would need amputation or surgery, as a splint alone would not help her heal properly.

I work a full time job, do tattoos on the side, and am currently working on getting into community college, and savings. Like anyone else in the world, have many bills to pay. I am not financially prepared for something this major.

As you can imagine, these emergency vet costs were unexpected and extremely costly. Not to mention the cost of her needed surgery or amputation. To put it shortly, I need help for my baby. I truly dont know how to do this alone. I am so devasted and tired, and I know my sweet girl is too.

Her ER vet bill was around $1,100. The estimated cost for amputation $700, and for surgery, $5k-$7k.

If there is absolutely anything you can do, no donation is too little and everything is so so immensely appreciated.
