My husband cheated on me with our surrogate
Me (F30) and my husband (M32) have been together for seven years. We got married four years ago, and we’ve been battling infertility ever since. We tried every method possible but were never able to conceive, so we decided to use a surrogate.
We went through the entire process, and she has been able to carry the pregnancy successfully. She’s a 23-year-old woman, and she’s currently six months pregnant with our baby.
Two days ago, I found out on my husband’s phone that they had been exchanging messages, and she had been sending him very explicit pictures. I confronted him, and he apologized. He said it wasn’t an affair because they had never physically touched each other, and that the only reason he was attracted to her was because she’s carrying his baby. He says he’s not actually into her, but that the biology of having his child inside her makes him feel “primal.”
I’m absolutely distraught over the whole situation. I’m currently staying at my sister’s house, but he’s been texting me all day. I haven’t even been able to tell anyone the truth because I feel so humiliated.
