Hi.
I've printed the last 8 years on a FLSUN I3 2017, built from a kit. It's worked quite good and it's payed for it self several times over. Additionally it's thought me a lot about fixing and repairing this printer. I'm now sick and tired though and I'm considering buying something more reliable without breaking the bank. I use my printer mostly for functional parts and tools.
Any suggestions?

Had problems with clogging. Changed hotend, PFTE tube, nozzle, fans. Still clogging. After a cold pull it would extrude again then clog.
I then did a test. I manually extruded filament. What I noticed is it would clog after each break in extrusion. Something like this:
-Manually extract filament for 5 seconds.
-Short break
-Clog, not possible to extract.
-Cold pull
-Manulaly extract filament for 15 seconds.
-Short break
-Clog, not possible to extract.
It's not the nozzle itself, its like the filament widens at the last couple of millimeters.
I seem to remember it happened around filament change. It was a new, just opened filament spool. Could it be a bad filament spool?

Flsun I3 clone. Printed for 7 years virtually without clog. Suddenly it started clogging and I have now step by step replaced hotend, nozzle and PTFE tube. Printed first print OK, then clogged halfway through next print. Unclogged and then clogged again. Keeps clogging. Not much left to replace. Could it be a bad quality filament?

My son just bought a motorcycle at a good price due to various cracked fairings. A couple are due to the bike tipping over, and some look like fine stress fractures. I have a plastic welder and putty, and am considering repairing and repainting the affected fairings. What I'm unsure about is the decals. I don't suppose one can reuse them once removed? Should I look for new ones on eBay / AliExpress?
I have removed decals before, and (unfortunately) have unwrapped a whole pickup truck before. A heat gun works good.
