I was able to order a 6 month supply of Tirz with b6 today from the Reddit link, but I don’t see any other posts mentioning 6 month orders recently. It has been sent to pharmacy.. Would it have let me order if it wasn’t still available?
Just wanted to post in case anyone with Cigna needed some encouragement while waiting for their approval. The doctor’s office submitted the request on 4/13 and initially faxed to wrong number. After waiting 2 weeks for it to show up in my Prior Authorization portal and no updates, I called Cigna and they passed along the correct fax number to give my insurance coordinator. Paperwork was resubmitted 4/16 and I received a denial on 4/20. The denial letter stated we needed to EXCEED the 22nd percentile grams listed on the Schnur scale. Luckily my doctor was able to approve the additional grams, and paperwork was resubmitted. Last Friday I called Cigna for an update and they notified me that it had been denied AGAIN but that my doctor’s office had already submitted additional paperwork and that it was back under review. I’m not sure what they asked for specifically, as I was not looped in. Today, 5/13, I FINALLY got an approval letter and phone call from my coordinator to schedule my surgery!!! Long story short, Cigna sucks but if you have a team willing to stay diligent, it can get approved! Other things to note— I was not asked to complete any physical therapy, treatment, etc. I noted that I had tried therapeutic massage on my questionnaire but did not have to provide any additional information or proof. I’m 5’3 and currently a G cup. Hoping to get down to a b/c. Surgery scheduled for 9/17!!! If anyone has any questions, I’m happy to answer. I know I searched this group daily for glimmers of hope and insight into the process while I waited for my approval.
