Considering taking the day off work just to cry about it. I thought I'd really tempered my expectations, and I even had a dream about a negative pregnancy test last night, but it still really hurts.
I'm in a same-sex couple so it feels like we ONLY have seven chances (6 covered IUI and 1 covered IVF) and that I'm not getting younger so we just lost the best chance we had. Really sad.

Currently my wife's military position is on the other side of the country, so I'm doing this alone. I could definitely use some emotional support from other people going through this process.
I have one week to go before the blood test and I'm swinging wildly between already thinking of myself as pregnant and feeling despair and anxiety because I'm already 36 and had an AMH of 1.0. I'm feeling so much regret about not doing egg retrieval when I was younger and a lot of frustration that insurance challenges, my wife getting PCSed to New York and needing polyps removed delayed us by over a year.
I used letrozole and ovidrel. Kaiser doesn't give many details about the donor sperm, so all I know is that it was above 5mil and had decent motility post-wash. Three days prior to the IUI my EMS was 9.5mm and my follicles were 16.3 and 17.8.
We had an AWFUL experience with UPS losing our sperm in the mail. We tried to do two-day delivery and it got "delayed" because it missed a truck. I took 4/29 off work to drive to every UPS in the Bay Area and call every UPS customer service phone number I could get because I had already taken the trigger shot and was supposed to do the IUI the morning of 4/30. After speaking with 19(!) agents at UPS, no one would help us and no one would even empathize with us - I had one agent outright chastise me as doing "unhelpful things like gasping and crying" when I started crying on the phone when she said she couldn't even confirm what state the sperm was currently in.
I'd totally given up by that night and went to dance with my friends and afterwards we sat in a circle, lit some candles and did some positive thinking. The next morning, someone from UPS called and told us that they'd located the package and that I could pick it up from the facility, and that they'd make an exception for me because it was a medical procedure! I picked up the sperm and raced to the clinic and made it with fifteen minutes to spare. I fully believe in witchcraft now.
If this is the IUI that works, that baby will have overcome so many hurdles!
Has anyone else felt intense fatigue? I'm usually a night owl but I've been in bed at 10pm and yawning all day ever since two days post-IUI. Other than that I've just had digestive upset.
