[TOMT] [SONG] Song with the same piano melody as "Chariots of Fire" by Vangelis

Here is this song that I search that use exactly same piano melody as "Chariots of Fire" by Vangelis but in a different key and I can't find it. Impossible to find it by searching "Chariots of Fire" by Vangelis on Whosampled and impossible to find it by searching "Chariots of Fire sample". However, this song really exists and I'm not crazy. It's a 70's or 80's pop hit with lyrics but impossible to remember lyrics and if it's a man or a woman who sing. I can only remember this piano intro identical to the Vangelis song. I get the confirmation of the existence of this song when a few hours ago, I was scrolling on Tiktok a I've heard it in background in a gymnasts fails video but I impossible to Shazam it because the ambient noise in the video drowned out the music. If anyone knows what song this is, let me know in the comments below

You can hear this song at 00:18 in background in this gymnasts fails video: https://www.tiktok.com/@gymnasticsondemand/video/7640966430879386902

I repeat, this is a song that use the same piano melody as "Chariots of Fire" by Vangelis but it's not "Chariots of Fire" by Vangelis

Lately, I’ve been listening to a lot of Latin and Spanish songs, and I’ve noticed that many female singers in this genre have a distinctive voice, especially 80's ones. Whenever I hear a song sung by a woman with a voice like that, even if I don’t know this song and who sing this, I automatically assume she’s a Latin singer, and when I check later, I find that I’m always right. I can name lot of Latin female singers with that special voice, like Alla Pugacheva, Isabel Pantoja, Rocío Jurado, Ivete Sangalo, Salomé De Bahia, Daniela Mercury, Margareth Menanzeth, María Jiménez, Ana Belén and others but I can’t name only one non-Spanish/non-Latin woman with a special voice like that.

The melody of "Go West" by Village People sounds as if it had always existed as a traditional song or an ancient hymn dating back centuries. But when you finally find the original source of that melody (or the Pet Shop Boys’ cover), you get the impression that they didn’t compose it themselves and that they just reworked it, as if it had become a musical standard with lost origins, like “We Wish You a Merry Christmas,” which absolutely everyone has known for centuries without knowing where it came from. Yet, when you come across a random song and realize upon listening to it that it’s a hit you’ve heard many times before, it’s clear that it’s that specific song and no other. But with “Go West,” it feels like the melody comes from somewhere else without you knowing where, even though it was indeed the Village People who composed it.
