so i bought an s25 ultra from usa unlocked but jio 5g wasnt working so i started to search for ways to fix it and found this forum where he explained it in detailed so here's a simplified version written by AI to fix it
You will need a Windows computer (or VM) and the Samsung USB Driver installed to do the following steps. Install the USB driver from here before proceeding if you do not have it installed.
step 0: unlocking the menu:
Install the Samsung USB drivers from here if you have not already done so (note these are different then the driver's included with Smart Switch).
Enable USB Debugging in Developer menu.
Download SamFW FRP tool 4.9 or latest version from here.
Open SamFW FRP tool and connect your phone to the computer with a USB.
Using SamFW FRP tool, go to MTP tab and click on "Enable Secret Code for Verizon". See the picture below. Note it works on any US or Canadian CSC even though it says "for Verizon".
Open Service Mode Dial: *#73#
Then:
This opens the full Service Mode menu.
Go to:UE SETTING & INFO
→ SETTING
→ PROTOCOL
→ NR5G
→ Stack Selection
→ STACK 1
Then do all of these:
NR5G
→ PRUNE STATUS
→ REMOVE NR5G PRUNE
GCF
→ REMOVE ONLY NR WHITELIST
NR5G
→ SA/NSA Mode Control
→ SA/NSA ENABLE
NR5G
→ SA/NSA Mode Control
→ Remove SA permit list
NR5G
→ NRDC
→ NRDC ENABLE
This was the part most guides skipped.(DO THIS IF YOU HAVE SECOND SIM TOO ELSE IGNORE)
If Jio is on eSIM, you MUST repeat the same settings on STACK 2.
Go to:NR5G
→ Stack Selection
→ STACK 2
Then repeat:
SYSTEM
→ next page x4
→ SET LTE BAND CONFIG
→ SET DEFAULT LTE BAND

I am a new airtel user i ported my number to airtel because i bought an s24 from usa and 5g doesnt work on my jio sim here so i asked chatgpt it said to switch to airtel however it showed 5g but now im getting speeds like 1 or 2 mbps after consuimg 1.5gb data ...the guy who sold me sim said that it was unlimited plan (349) ...i've also seen a lot of posts saying that airtel caps hotspot usage ...so im a student i need hotspot for my laptop (my clg has shit wifi) ....can you guys help me with a solution (i've also seen some posts claiming they bypassed that no hotspot restriction....and no i dont have airtel thanks app in my phone)
