I have been wondering abt this topic but dont have good understanding. Brothel exists in every society and i havent seen people discussing much abt it.
- There was a fictional story in my alevels Urdu book, there would be many conclusions but one and main conclusion was that whorehouses are the need of
societies. Long story short, city counsel tried to remove the brothel as believing this haram place is bad and its affecting our youth and when outsiders visit it gives bad impression.
This has changed my opinion as if brothel exists in most places, some go there and this aint the part of our discussion and you cant deny the fact. If you believe that your city is safe then go find it out yourself.
- Why we hate or feel forbidden for any such activities is bc of our clear instructions in Islam that prostitution is forbidden and any related activities like zina is haram.
At this point of time i see everyone is in relationship and a chunck of them, maybe, is truly on dating level, you know what i mean.
- Another part of early Islam in Arab often makes me wonder if at that time people were intimidating with their slaves, if im not wrong strong women were also involved too with their slaves. It wasn't liked by Prophet PBUH but he didnt gave strict verdict to instantly vanished this whole thing up but it removed slowly over time. You can relate if you know or ve read the history. If i say people only get into marriage stuff if they want to have babies and grow their families. ngl if one think slaves are lows who will gonna have babies with them unless they are pretty, lol. Also marriages was a key part where clans unite through marriage.
Basically why this intimidation thing removed idk exactly but it was all about to save the family system (these are the words we oft hear), structures and to have good life with their spouse perhaps.

Like ill say this aint gonna leave mark on anyone, and marriage is a tuff decision bc families unite and no fuckin one want divorce if it aint work out.
I would love to know y'all opinion on this
