I just recently moved jurisdictions for our child support and custody arrangement from WA to AZ and I remember looking up the child support worksheets of both states and making me feel like I was filing my taxes just to find out how much I would probably be paying. So I coded up this calculator for the AZ child support to see if I could make it better, then I thought this would be a cool little side quest to help out others who have the same questions. Definitely not a replacement for a lawyer, but I'm hoping with some community support and a few real lawyers also poking holes in it, that I can get this to be a good "estimator tool"!

Any legal advice for how to keep this tool advisory in nature but still providing relevant guidance for how much a parent could potentially pay or receive in child support. I don’t want to stray into “legal advise” but I created this because the AZ worksheets sucked and even CA one is a terrible user experience!

Any guidance would be helpful!
