Girlfriend came over drunk tonight
Not really sure what to do here… went over to my girlfriend’s house at around 7PM, came home at 7:43PM because her AC was out and it was very hot. She was totally fine. She agreed to come over to sleep at my place since I had AC, so I said ok see you soon and went home. When she comes over an hour and 15 minutes later, she is noticeably drunk. I knew something was weird immediately and let it go for awhile before I finally asked her if she was drunk. She said a little tipsy and I countered back with this was not a little tipsy. She said this feels very judgmental and I was like well yeah it’s a Monday night with work in the morning and you drove here. I only saw you an hour ago and you drive over here drunk?
She refused to discuss it and didn’t say anything about it and got emotional and said she wanted to go to bed. Wouldn’t tell me how much she drank, anything.
I’m very worried and am concerned that she might be doing this every night. How can I address this tomorrow? I have no idea how to ask about this without sounding judgmental. If she has a problem I don’t know if she will admit it. I have gone over to her apartment before and noticed that a bottle of liquor we had on Saturday night (pretty full) was totally gone by the time I got there on Friday.
