Friends, I understand that lithium can cause hypothyroidism but usually these issues show up early on. I've been on lithium for 3 years (900 mg) and over the past few months I have felt progressively foggier, my weightloss stalled and reversed (10lb) and I can barely get through a workout.
They're testing my TSH and T4 levels in the next two days, but isn't three years a little late in the game? My reading is yielding mixed results.
Ultimately, I'm just scared, you guys. It feels like my life is out of control again.
