Looking for recommendations on an AI resort for a group of 6 (three couples) in July. Our budget is roughly 1700$ per person with flights included. We’d like to avoid a party atmosphere. We would like to ensure that it’s good food, on the ocean, and easy access to the city should we want to venture off.

We’re currently looking at Haven Riviera and Secrets the Vine. Both of these spots have mixed reviews, especially for the food.

I’m aware with travelling in July, that is peak seaweed season. I’d like to obviously avoid the seaweed if possible, because I’ve heard it’s smelly. I am travelling with many folks who have never been to the ocean or out of the US, so I’d hope we pick somewhere that does their best to maintain the seaweed.

I would greatly appreciate and feed back on Haven or Secrets Vine, or any other recommendations that would work for what we are looking for!!

Thank you in advance

Hello!!

Looking for some advice on an affordable all inclusive hotel with good food and *not* a party atmosphere. I’ve been seeing mixed reviews on the RIUs and Chic, looking for any other recommendations! Thank you!
