Called my wife out for leaving minor details out of stories. AITAH?

My wife told me she was going out on a boat with her girlfriends for the day. She told me they “hired a captain” and asked if I could give them a ride to the marina.

When I picked them up from the marina, of course they were super drunk. Asked my wife how it went and she said it was good, just a ton of her Pilates instructor girlfriends being super silly.

A few days later, a mutual friend asked my wife about her boat day. She said it was great, her friend “knew a guy with a boat” and they “had a blast, got super drunk, and the guy driving was so drunk they had to stop and get him some food.

Now look, I know this is not a big deal. Minor details left out. I would’ve been ok with her going even if she left all the details in. But I did want to call her out, so I told her “you told me you hired a captain? You asked me to Venmo you to help pay?

And this is where I got confused, because she responded “we DID hire a captain, my girlfriend has hired him before

Which honestly just made me more confused because of the whole, “knew a guy with a boat” thing… and the fact the “captain” almost blacked out.

But anyways… I told her those stories don’t line up, and she purposely either left details out for me, or put false details in for our friend.

She denied and said it was the same story. She kept saying “I’m sorry it seemed that way to you”

I told her that’s not a real apology, and she knew exactly what she was doing

Oof. She is crying in the other room rn.

AITAH?

Edit:
I was already salty about the lake trip because I was invited when the event was planned, another husband and I were uninvited a day before the event because they “wanted it to be a girls day”. I still drove them an hour to the marina.

That being said, you people are right I focused on the wrong detail. She could have died and im upset about the whether it was a friend or a legit captain hired.

Left the last bite on the plate

For the first time in my life i made breakfast and there was about an eighth of a piece of toast with a little bit of egg left on the plate and i just couldn't finish it.

This is the first time this has ever happened to me 😂 I have always had a bad habit of eating until all the food is gone.. even when I’m full

Probably a boring post but that threw me for a loop this morning. If this is my new normal I need to invest in some protein shakes
