Got this Osborne at a very nice price. It being my first benchmade just curious as to what someone with a more trained eye would think.

Advice for high pressured public.

I hunt the state forest and there are plenty of birds from what I hear in the mornings however. I hardly ever hear any hens out there. Gobblers going crazy on the roost then once they hit the ground they don’t make a peep. They don’t respond to any calls whatsoever.. I’ve had 2 birds within 100 yards that don’t even flinch at any soft calls.. from what I’ve heard from people with more experience than me is “too many people have called to them in the off season and scouting they won’t respond to hen calls anymore”

I find that statement to be a little weird because obviously they’re reproducing as there are a lot of birds there. But im not sure. This is my second year turkey hunting so truthfully any advice is good advice!

I hunt with a breeder decoy as well.
